Who can fly vs who must register
Anyone of any age may take a Flyer ID test and fly a drone. The Operator ID — the £11.79/year registration that must be labelled on the aircraft — is different: you must be 18 to hold one. In a family, a parent registers as the operator and the child flies under that registration.
